Loved the location, it was far enough away from town to be peaceful but not to far that it was inconvient.
The front desk closed at 9, and I had a late check-in.
The proxity to Jasper yet right on the lake being able to walk and perhaps later in the winter skate on the lake
Loved location and view and seclusion quiet decor was cozy affordable
Bathrooms could use updating ie. Mold in the grouting bathmat discoloured
The location and scenery were great. Faculties in our room excellent toaster kettle gas flame fire. Staff were really helpful when our booking had to be altered due to bad weather
Everything was just great. Maintenance man cheerfully lent us a scraper to get snow off our rental vehicle. Front desk staff helped us change rooms to get better WiFi reception. Dinner in the Pine Restaurant (on the property) was EXCELLENT. Room had all desired amenities. Cleaning staff was polite, friendly and efficient.
The view from our unit was absolutely breathtaking and we really had a very relaxing time there.
There was nothing to dislike about the resort!!!
location, comfortable bed, view and surrounding activities
Walls and ceiling transmit other occupants noise.
The surroundings, the location is excellent. The rooms are good and so is the view.
coffe machine not working, shower not hot, just lukewarm.
Amazing location on Pyramid Lake. The Pines restaurant is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Fabulous food and a stunning view.
Rooms could seriously use updating.
Beautiful location. Fabulous scenery Decent sized room.
Tried to hire boat but due to short staff we were not able to and they closed the boat hire hut at 4pm
Thee location was nice. The facility had potential because it had space and a gas fireplace and kitchenette.
Torn shower curtain, filthy stained carpet,a toilet brush in plain sight!, Grey towels. There are many maintenance issues that kept this from being a nice resort. Knobs didn't match on wardrobe. How hard is that to fix? Refrigerator had a loud whine. At $300 a night we expect better.
There was only one problem with my stay at Pyramid Lake Resort, I had to leave. This was my first stay at this resort and it certainly won't be my last. Everything from the fantastic scenery to the accomodations more than met my expectations. The room was cozy but clean. The service in the restaurant was outstanding and the food was incredible. I will certainly return to this gem in the mountains.
The setting was lovely and definitely a highlight of our stay.
For the price, the amenities could have been better. It was disappointing that there was no pool and that you had to pay extra if you wanted to use the boats. The rooms were very small. We had a suite and there was barely enough space for our baby's pack and play. There was no tv in the bedroom, so my 3 year old and my baby shared the bedroom while my husband and I slept in the living room on the pullout couch so we could stay up a little later than the girls and watch some tv. The pull out bed was in extremely poor condition and we almost had it fold up on us several times. Cleanliness was also a concern. The bed had stains on it, I had to wash out the coffee maker before using as it was all slimy on the inside where you put the water. All in all, I would probably look elsewhere for our next trip.
The Pyramid Lake Resort is in a wonderful location, nestled on the lake surrounded by mountains.
We were unlucky enough to have stayed during a wedding, the room above us had one of the wedding parties and they stomped on our ceiling all night.
Pyramid Lake Resort was great! The staff was incredible. We had a dog and they did not make us feel second class; in fact, the opposite. They did everything to make sure that our stay was great. They accommodated us so that we could have dinner at the restaurant - AMAZING!!! Thank-you and we will be back!
